FIVE TIPS TO HELP YOU SEIZE OPPORTUNITIES

Last year was probably quite challenging. Like so many people, you may feel relieved that last year has rolled away. I believe that by the virtue of your seeing a new year, you are already positioned for a turnaround. Wherever you need to, throw out the old attitude that hindered you in the previous year. Put on a new attitude.

This year, you must seek, see and seize opportunities. If you choose to consider everyday of the year as a store of opportunities, you will experience at least 365 new and better things in this and every following year.

One proverb says, “To recognize opportunity is the difference between success and failure.” Opportunities are the waiting horse for the expectant rider. You must do something worthwhile with the opportunities that will come your way this year. And to ensure that you don’t miss out on any opportunities this year, may I suggest 5 tips I believe will help:

 

1.   Be diligent in your responsibilities. Work at improving by at least one notch every time in everything.

2.   Spend more time building your dreams and less regretting your losses.

3.   While expecting rewards for your efforts, keep your heart open and feel good to lend a helping hand where and when possible.

4.   Take time to smell the roses, I mean enjoy the moment. Enjoy your life. Enjoy today.

5.   Be a friend.
