BUSINESS START-UP:

CARING FOR CO-WORKERS

When was the last time you sincerely asked, “How are you?” […and actually lingered a while to hear the reply]?

You spend an average 8 hours daily at work. Often we get quite carried away with caring for customers and leave out caring for those we work with.

When was the last time you sincerely asked colleagues or employees such questions:

“How are you?” […and actually lingered a a while to hear the reply]

“How's the family?”

“Hope the traffic wasn't too stressful returning home yesterday.”

“You were late today. Hope everything's okay?”

“How's it going with your project?”

And so on and so forth.

A friend at work can make your workday a little bit more colourful. A colleague once said, “People you meet at work may someday be strategic figures in your life. Treat them well. Treasure the relationships you are privileged to forge at work and through the job.”

According to William James, “Wherever you are, it is your friends who make your world.”

We hope you enjoy this edition's package. Do write to let us know how tVB is impacting your work-life and how else we can make your working day better. We look forward to hearing from you.
