TVB 64: TYPES OF BUSINESS START-UP

BUSINESS TRAINING:

Welcome to tVB 64!

I trust you've been living Inspired! We signed out of tVB 63 with three questions:

1) Have you identified any Problem(s) affecting any person or place yet?
2) Do you have one or more Solutions in mind to deal with the Problem(s)?
3) How will you practically and profitably provide that Solutions?

And just in case you're new to The Vision Builder, we started this Seminar in tVB 63.

In this edition, we want to look at different types of commercial or charity-based Business areas that people operate in to make solutions available for others to stop or prevent problems affecting them. You must be aware that whatever type of business you choose will influence how you can provide Solutions to the Problem(s) you have identified through practical, effective and profitable goods and services.

You must remain extremely conscious that Business is primarily, A specific commercial enterprise or establishment; Commercial, industrial, or professional activity; The volume or amount of commercial trade. Wictionary.org, Wikimedia Foundation defines Business as, A person's occupation, work, or trade, A particular situation or activity; An objective or a matter needing to be dealt with; Something involving one personally; Something very good; top quality.

The broad definitions of 'Business' present a vast field of platforms to you. Every Business primarily helps us solve Problems. How can you find your best Business area?

STRATEGIES FOR FINDING YOUR BEST BUSINESS AREA

Three simple Strategies will help you find your best Business area.
First is Your Capabilities, second, The Problem Area, and third is Sources of Business. You can apply one, two or all Strategies.

1. YOUR CAPABILITIES

This Strategy is based on what you can do easiest, best and most profitably. Take the time to think over this. What are those things that you can do easiest, best and most profitably? You may already be aware of one, two or more skills and abilities that are currently evident in your life. Compare your current Work or Professional ability with the available needs and demands around you.

This Strategy shows you five levels of Business that you can handle the most efficiently:

1. What you can perform the best
2. What you have the most experience and potential for
3. What is most practical
4. What is easiest to do
5. What you can earn the highest income from

Movie Actor and Producer, Sylvester Stallone, is one good example of working with your capabilities. Never look down on anything you already know how to do.

2. THE PROBLEM AREA

This Strategy will help you to properly identify:
a) What exactly the Problem is?
b) Who or what or which place is affected by that Problem?
c) What Solution is required to deal with the problem?

Helen Keller saw a health Problem and pressed to create a Solution - the X-ray technology and machine! Through her sacrificial research and experimental Tests, mankind has since lived healthier because she cared and dared to act!

3. BUSINESS SOURCES

This Strategy will help you perceive possible Business areas from five or more Sources, namely,
a) Ideas
b) Concern
c) Opportunities
d) Needs
e) [Learnt] Skills and Expertise
