To guide yourself, ask these FOUR KEY QUESTIONS:

1. WHAT DO I LIKE DOING?
This could be a clue to getting viable business/financially rewarding ideas. Many are content with the happiness that certain activities bring them, but hardly consider that they can also have financial income added to the happiness they derive from those activities.

2. WHAT NEEDS EXIST AROUND ME THAT I CAN MEET?
In many cases, there are usually needs that people and our environment have and they present opportunities for exploitation for legitimate, personal wealth. The value you input into any society determines how much that society pays into your account. 

Other-people-mindedness will create wealth for you. Mahatma Ghandi, "The customer once said that the customer who brings you business is doing you a favour." 

Business is business only when others need what you have. No customer no business. Some persons tend to choose a line of business without even taking the time to check up if their offering is needed. If even when there appears to be a need, is the need great enough to warrant an investment. Will it sustain itself, and eventually you setting it up? It is better to identify needs first, then the greatness of that need before pouring your limited resources.
The value of your offering [i.e. product or service] is the benefit that users find in it after trying it out. And nothing creates a wave of demand like a good commendation from a familiar person. You probably use a certain brand of Toothpaste because your wife likes it and directly or indirectly recommended it. Strive for a product that inspires easy and influential commendation. 
Never pour valuable water down a well! Your product or service should be relevant to daily life. What can you think of that consists daily needs of people who live on the streets around your home? Why not note them down right now!

To be called by god is a privilege, to be anointed an advantage, but to be found faithful is a strict prerequisite.
