TVB 134: THE RIGHT FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

CHURCH WORK TRAINING:

Once I was asked, "What is the right way for church Ushers to operate?"

When I responded, "I can't specifically say!" I got a reaction, "But you've taught church workers for many years. Shouldn't a church department have a specific way it functions?"

THE 'WAY'
A DEPARTMENT
FUNCTIONS...

The God-given Vision (or Assignment) to your Pastor / Lead Minister is the foundation upon which your local church family was started and is still established.

The Vision defines its Functions. These Functions, in turn, describe the required Duties - Where, When and How often they will be performed. Therefore, the Ushering duty [or any Duty at all] in a local church could be uniquely different from that of another local church basically because different God-given Vision (or Assignment) will command different Functions. And different Functions will naturally command different Duties!

Answer: The 'specific way' a local church department works is determined by the God-given Vision (or Assignment) responsible for the establishment of that particular local church!
