TVB 116: ENHANCE TO EXPAND! Part 3









BUSINESS TRAINING:

 I promised in Blog 114 to tell you a story of Business Expansion. It's about an Employer and Employee.

It all started when Kai went to work...

Kai saw a blood-stained gold sash lying on one of the...
He jerked upward. Oh God! What is this?
"What are they there for? Who owns them?” Kai
demanded. It was a very shocking sight.
...Ten Bags of Gold!

 “The Merchant whom you laboured for with your injured leg at the marketplace brought them! Three days ago ...remember?"
Kai just starred. He remembered. If only he had not angrily walked away that morning ...ungrateful.
"...He said you fainted from pain while you were apologizing to him. They treated and brought you home...”
He also remembered.
“...Why bring these?” Kai whispered, pointing shaky fingers to the Bags of Gold.
“He said your fellow workers vowed that each man would give to you a fourth of his daily wages for three days if you could not walk back to the marketplace. He asked them why and many said they watched as you worked and copied your style. Your style of work helped each man who copied you to perform more work, better and faster than other times they have performed labour in other places. According to him, some said that you taught them how to do the work well, better and faster that first day. And so each man decided to give a fourth of each day's wage, till they complete that work, as a thank you for teaching them to work better. They said to the Merchant that they have learnt what they called the 'Kai style' of work that empowers them to earn bigger and better wages from the little you taught them. Even the fourth part wages they decided to send to you have increased each day since each man could achieve more work.
"The Merchant told me, "They said, pain did not stop Kai! One leg was wounded, yet he laboured more and better than most of us. May God heal him quickly! What he taught us has given us a better life that can earn more wages and perform better work. He has brought more happiness to our lives!"
“The Merchant was very impressed, not just because you laboured much, even with great pain, but that you even made others do better. And so well that even he has now benefitted greatly from what you taught your fellow labour hands that he also vowed a promise.
He told your fellow workers, “I also vow an additional fourth part to this man for every fourth part that each of you gives him! He worked with a PURPOSE!”
“He also brought that Gold Pendant on your neck. He said you brought much happiness to very many people that day. He called you 'The Merchant of Happiness'! We all decided to place the Gold Necklace around your neck!”
"He begged us, Chum and I, to please plead with you to kindly accept to become his Work Assistant! Merchants from farther lands visited his place the second day when you could not go. As they witnessed the labour hands working, they felt challenged to do some other bigger transactions with him. For what they want, he desperately needs a man… He believes you have the skills within you. He promised to tell you more when he comes again this evening after the present work time is over.”

Kai was shocked, starring at everyone around him one-by-one…Kai smiled. Gratitude and gladness glowed on his face… Kai raised his arm, and started waving it skyward gently and with a smile.
