ONE: YOUR FIRST 30 TO 90 DAYS

1. Workplace Drama

*Lolade worked in a Department in the Bank doing the best she could. One day, rumours filtered that she was to be moved to another branch of the Bank, but a lower official position. Options available to her were:
. Accept the posting and position; or
. Resign!

While wondering what to do, she suddenly got the news that the decision had been reversed. Status quo would be maintained.

The background drama that reversed her Transfer played out when its rumours reached one of the major customers of that branch. He called the Manager and threatened to remove his money from their Bank if that lady was transferred. According to him, "That lady works well ...but what would happen to account owners like me?"

*Lolade was grateful, although she couldn't pin-point any particular service or favour she had done for that Customer. Something in her regular work-style must have impacted him positively, somehow, sometime. And so much that it gave him the confidence to retain his account in that particular branch!

No Menial Jobs!

Truth is, there are no menial jobs. No matter the official position or duties, every stated job is vital. First for the Employer, and then the Employee!

Society's needs are met by the products and services created from the work processes of Employees engaged by Employers. Sustaining acceptable Goals and Standards in work operations enables Employers to sustain profitability. These acceptable Goals and Standards become the approved work-style of all Employees...especially those who really want to keep their jobs!

Regardless of work stress and some times of inconveniences, your job definitely places you on a better financial and social platform. Being an Employee grants you certain privileges that make today better and tomorrow more assured.

Choice, Chance & 'Strength'!

Choice and Chance both have equal stake in the employment Drama. The Employer has a Choice. The Employee has a Chance.

Your job is expected to be a point of Strength to your Employer's goals and aspirations. By 'Strength' I mean, 'Sustaining acceptable goals and standards in work operations in ways that enable your Employer to keep a position of profitability.' This is what connects the Employer's Choice and the Employee's Chance.
